The Donaldsons have farmed their 100 acres in Brighton TN since 1958. Tim Donaldson, his wife, their two children, and Tim's parents are assisted by 11 seasonal workers during their busy growing season. The Donaldson Farm sells tomatoes in large quantities to many area grocery stores. In addition to tomatoes, the Donaldsons grow summer squash and zucchini, many varieties of peppers, Kentucky Wonder bunch beans, pinkeye, purple hull, and silver crowder peas, cucumbers for slicing and pickling, okra, sweet corn, potatoes, onions, beets, watermelons, and cantelopes. Come by and meet them on Saturday, and enjoy the fruits of their labors. Maybe Tim will talk a little farming with you.
