Did you know that grits, polenta, corn meal, and masa flour are all made from the same ingredient - corn?  The only difference is the size of the grind.  Becky Tatum from Delta Grind can tell you all about it at the MFM.  Becky and her husband John, restaurateurs from North Mississippi, purchased Delta Grind when Georgeanne Ross, who owned and operated it for years, decided to retire.  The corn used in the grind is from local growers in north Mississippi and southwest Tennessee.  Becky grinds anywhere from 400 to 700 pounds of corn in a day and supplies farmers markets and 40+ Memphis and midsouth area restaurants.  Delta Grind visits the MFM once a month, so don't miss out!  Stop by and stock up on their wonderful corn products.
